Volunteering

Healthwatch Newham needs volunteers to ensure that we can raise the profile of the issues that matter when it comes to improving our health and social care services.

We are looking for individuals with skills and talents that can have a real impact on Newham's local health landscape. Not all opportunities will require a background in health and we will always aim to offer constructive volunteering opportunities so you can develop too.

Anybody can apply to volunteer , and we welcome people from all walks of life and backgrounds. However; some opportunities may only be available to over 18s for legal reasons. Volunteering with us means you can:

  • impact on local health services
  • improve your skills and CV
  • help influence decisions made about your health and social care services
  • give a voice to people who otherwise may be unheard

HOW TO APPLY

To become a volunteer please read the volunteer information pack, complete the application form and return it to us. Once we receive your application, we will contact you to arrange an informal interview and if successful, you will join our volunteer training course to prepare you for the role.
