Vacancy 1: Healthwatch Newham Project and Volunteer Officer
£24,000 pro-rata, 3 days per week
Fixed Term Contract until March 2019
The Project and Volunteer Support Officer is responsible for volunteer management and developing and delivering Healthwatch projects.
Vacancy 2: Healthwatch Policy and Research Officer
£25,000 pro-rata - 4 days per week
Fixed Term Contract until March 2018, with the possibility of extension, dependent on funding
The Policy and Research Officer is responsible for leading Healthwatch Barnet, Brent and Newham's policy and research functions and developing its policy and research strategy.
The post holder supports Healthwatch and its partners to provide evidence for and promote the impact of successful resident, service user and patient engagement. They will analyse developments in health and social care, devise and deliver qualitative and quantitative research projects. The successful candidate will be part of a small and focused team and be motivated to involve residents and deliver real improvements in health and social care services.
