Blood Test & Vaccination Centre relocated to Mile End
The vaccination and interim blood testing (phlebotomy) service that was established at Westfield Centre in Stratford has been closed on Tuesday 27th September. The services in Beaumont House are continuing to offer COVID and children's Polio vaccinations. Newham residents will continue to book a blood test appointment online for one of the four locations across the borough which will continue to operate, with each site extending their capacity.
Although not an emergency service, there will be some slots reserved each day for urgent blood tests, in which case GPs need to ensure that 'Urgent' is printed on the blood form for the patient to take to the clinic.
The online Swiftqueue booking system is quick and straightforward and people get a reminder text message the day before their appointment. Booking online means that patients do not have use the waiting room but can just attend at the time of their appointment.
For people that are unable to book using the online service they can call a helpdesk hotline: 020 8475 2199 and press option 2 (Telephone lines open 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday).
